October 2018 – Day of the Dead
Our favourite time of year here at the Window Gallery, Halloween. For this months exhibition we took inspiration from the Mexican celebration Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) to create a colourful display including papel picado, decoupaged skulls, carved lamps, paper flowers, memorial shrines and plenty more. We even hosted a Day of the Dead celebration at the pub next door with Mexican food and face painting.
